does Informer works:
Informer works together with the Operating Support System for Passenger Transport,
XTraN Passenger, and through the cross-referencing and offline analysis of
the data gathered from the on-board unit, gives users the estimated time of
arrival of a certain vehicle at a given bus stop.
The data collected by the system is permanently refreshed based on the analysis
of speed, stops or route deviations. Users may access the information via several
means:
- Bus stop panels.
- Internet.
- Text Messages.
