BPI, via BPI Ventures, has become a shareholder of TECMIC, controlled by the national IT group AITEC. This investment implied an increase in share capital of PTE 3 million. BPI’s investment via BPI VENTURES will further consolidate TECMIC’s position in the national and European markets.

Besides from inside Portugal, Tecmic, specialising in fleet, personnel and remote equipment monitoring systems, is present in countries such as Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Morocco and Angola. Projected business volume for this year is 2 million euro.
