Tecmic has recently launched
its new application aimed at Services Management, named Dispatch
Manager. This application complements the XTraN family of products
with a powerful tool for supporting the planning, attribution and
dispatch of services to be executed by a vehicle fleet.
XTraN
is the company’s flagship product and consists of a set
of equipment known collectively as “On-Board IT” (on-board
computer, data communications terminals and any other equipment the
customer considers necessary), which receive and record activities
in the field. This information is transmitted together with geographical
positioning and the vehicle’s operating data (e.g. distances,
fuel consumption, operating times) to the control centre via any
available communications medium (such as GSM, TETRA, Trunking, CDMA,
etc.).
XTraN Dispatch Manager complements Tecmic’s current offering,
allowing companies to optimise creation of services, by associating
requests to a series of criteria (zones, types of request, etc.),
executing planning based on up-to-date information concerning vehicle
availability, and delivering service information to operatives’ data
terminals, transparently and efficiently.
XTraN Dispatch Manager
was specifically designed for companies with small to medium-sized
fleets, which require the greatest efficiency
in their operations, from service request, through scheduling and
dispatch to order execution, or, in case of an anomaly, appropriate
alerting and order rescheduling.
Tecmic’s solutions thus
provide benefits by means of improved productivity based on: improved
fulfilment of obligations, reduction
in execution times, reduction in journey times, greater number
of services executed, improved response times and increased resource
availability.
Tecmic possesses wide experience in the fields of
electronics, microelectronics, software, RF systems, mobile communications,
on-board and remote
systems, on which the development of its systems is based. Its
products provide companies with real-time information on all
activities carried
out by their personnel working outside the company. |
