The Operational Fleet Management Solution will be an innovation that the largest Portuguese club will present at the commemoration of this significant date ACP – The Portuguese Automobile Association aims to provide a more efficient breakdown repair service through using Tecmic’s XTraN system to manage its fleet. The system will be officially presented on 15th April, the date of the club’s centenary. The system will be installed across all 61 breakdown repair vehicles, with the fleet being controlled from control centres at Prior Velho in Lisbon and Centro da Prelada, in Porto.

The system will provide increased efficiency of the fleet’s operation and breakdown repair services, through knowledge of the vehicles’ exact position and their status. Mainly the customers will benefit from the application of this new technology, providing them with better response times as well as providing for payment of services through on-board Automatic Payment terminals.
